Clean Red Widgets

Yes believe it or not Clean Red Widgets or the seo contest is starting to get some attention on the web. There are folks out there pooh poohing the academy and the fact that we are involved in this “silly” contest.

To each his own….these folks must know everything there is to know about ranking for keywords…whether it’s clean red widgets or something else. Although one might ask, if they know everything then why the hell are they spending time reading, following and in some cases trying to outrank us “idiots”? I guess only they can answer that question! Maybe they are so successful that they have all the free time in the world to do whatever they want! If that’s the case salute them and aspire to be one of them.

Enough of this…. clean red widgets will have to wait…. time to get busy on my other projects!

So we are a week and half into the clean red widgets seo competition and I sit here now thinking about what i have learned about ranking for the the keyword.

I have checked out some of the clean red widgets blogs and some of my competition is long winded. i wonder are these blogs content generated? I don’t know… but I need to look into thse tools because long posts are just not my strong suit!

I noticed some of the competition has keyword stuffed clean red widgets like crazy! We shall see if that comes back to bite them in the ass or not.

Another thing I have noticed is that the social sites that people are using get indexed almost immediately… didn’t  google just publish a new guide for webmasters that alluded to how much they love social sites? I need to read that!

With such a short period of time to rank for clean red widgets I wonder if the strategies used for this competition will apply to our money sites? A recap is probably in order after it’s over!

So we are 4 days into the Clean Red Widgets seo contest and I’m wondering if I’m in over my head! lol
I was concerned that my 5 months of online “experience” would push me into the advanced group. Shit…was I serious? The group of beginners that I’m up against are sharp!

To be honest this is the first wordpress site I’ve ever set up(and I’m sure it shows). Boy do I have a lot to learn! Oh well that’s precisely why I entered the clean red widgets contest.

I can’t figure out why there aren’t more contestants? Not that I’m complaining! But lets be real…$1000 on the line is worth spending a little time on. Oh well back to figuring out what I should do next to raise my clean red widgets ranking in google!
