Clean Red Widgets

Getting to be a challenge to post about Clean Red Widgets. I want to stay on topic so the search engines are clear about what I’m trying to rank for.

The serps for Clean Red Widgets continue to change slightly as the days go by…. some of my competition have a shitload of links showing up already.They have really been working hard at this! Could they be working too hard ….time will tell in the final analysis.

If you bring up the results page, you notice that anchored text links are beginning to show in large numbers.

The contestants are working hard at getting links in all the normal places you would expect. Clean Red Widgets are showing up all over the net. Good advertising for the Affiliate Academy I would presume!

I wonder if all this frantic link building will prove to have the opposite effect that everyone is shooting for? What I mean is, will google throw us all into the sandbox three weeks into the contest never to be seen again …….at least for a few months.

Can’t wait to hear the feedback from contestants and other on what worked and what didn’t in the quest to rank on top for Clean Red Widgets.

I thought I had this SEO stuff figured out? A site showed up in the top position yesterday or the day before for the keyword Clean Red Widgets.

I plugged the domain into SEO elite to check out the links.  Now this is from memory….. but I think they had 3-4 anchored links that were pr 4-6 from comments. I have done zero commenting for links. I saw that and figured that I had my freakin work cut out!!

Today I see I’m back on top of the heap for “Clean Red Widgets”! Go figure… I have to figure out why the hell I’m #1.

I’m not complaining…. but the important thing for me is to  learn what it takes to rank #1 for any keywor… whether it’s Clean Red Widgets or something else!

So we are a week and half into the clean red widgets seo competition and I sit here now thinking about what i have learned about ranking for the the keyword.

I have checked out some of the clean red widgets blogs and some of my competition is long winded. i wonder are these blogs content generated? I don’t know… but I need to look into thse tools because long posts are just not my strong suit!

I noticed some of the competition has keyword stuffed clean red widgets like crazy! We shall see if that comes back to bite them in the ass or not.

Another thing I have noticed is that the social sites that people are using get indexed almost immediately… didn’t  google just publish a new guide for webmasters that alluded to how much they love social sites? I need to read that!

With such a short period of time to rank for clean red widgets I wonder if the strategies used for this competition will apply to our money sites? A recap is probably in order after it’s over!

I was concerned that my 5 months of online “experience” would push me into the advanced group. Shit…was I serious? The group of beginners that I’m up against are sharp!

To be honest this is the first wordpress site I’ve ever set up(and I’m sure it shows). Boy do I have a lot to learn! Oh well that’s precisely why I entered the clean red widgets contest.

This blog was created to rank #1 on the big “G” for the keyword Clean Red Widgets. You may be asking yourself “Why the hell would he want to spend his time doing this?” The answer is simple…. I’m doing this because this is part of an seo contest with a good chunk of money on the line for the winner.

I’m fairly new to marketing on the internet and seo.
