Clean Red Widgets

Yes believe it or not Clean Red Widgets or the seo contest is starting to get some attention on the web. There are folks out there pooh poohing the academy and the fact that we are involved in this “silly” contest.

To each his own….these folks must know everything there is to know about ranking for keywords…whether it’s clean red widgets or something else. Although one might ask, if they know everything then why the hell are they spending time reading, following and in some cases trying to outrank us “idiots”? I guess only they can answer that question! Maybe they are so successful that they have all the free time in the world to do whatever they want! If that’s the case salute them and aspire to be one of them.

Enough of this…. clean red widgets will have to wait…. time to get busy on my other projects!

So we are 4 days into the Clean Red Widgets seo contest and I’m wondering if I’m in over my head! lol
I was concerned that my 5 months of online “experience” would push me into the advanced group. Shit…was I serious? The group of beginners that I’m up against are sharp!

To be honest this is the first wordpress site I’ve ever set up(and I’m sure it shows). Boy do I have a lot to learn! Oh well that’s precisely why I entered the clean red widgets contest.

I can’t figure out why there aren’t more contestants? Not that I’m complaining! But lets be real…$1000 on the line is worth spending a little time on. Oh well back to figuring out what I should do next to raise my clean red widgets ranking in google!

This blog was created to rank #1 on the big “G” for the keyword Clean Red Widgets. You may be asking yourself “Why the hell would he want to spend his time doing this?” The answer is simple…. I’m doing this because this is part of an seo contest with a good chunk of money on the line for the winner.

I’m fairly new to marketing on the internet and seo. The process of taking a keyword… in this case “Clean red Widgets” and doing the work in order to take the #1 position serves an important purpose for me. This contest is going to teach me seo, how to analyze others sites and what i have to do in order to out rank the competition.

I know that you probably saying that is waste of time! But you’re wrong. This is all about my ongoing quest for knowledge. If I can take the top spot for Clean Red Widgets then I can apply what I’ve learned to other money keywords.
